Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. When she was a teenager, she has worked with traditional as well as popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela characterized her voice as sweet and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded a Grammy. In 2021, the track La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami was a collaboration with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. It was released in 2022 as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed alone on the popular program. Rosala from Motomami who was awarded the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first female to win one.
