MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. The following season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Turizo was raised in a musical family, his older brother and mother are both musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is essential. At first, he wanted to become a vet, but after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
